People entered the room, waking up Purr.

    The sleepy tomcat wasn't pleased.

Dumb humans – he thought with distaste. – They don't know that sleeping is the meaning of life.

And sleep is practical. You can effortlessly get what you want in it.

Purr decided his life could use more spice, so he focused on chilli peppers as he fell asleep.

     – Good morning and good night – he muttered to the people leaving and closed his eyes.

He dreamed a beautiful dream – he was a milord, living somewhere in Great Kittany, and the alluring feline served him mouse pudding and dried rat tea.
