No More Steel-Gray Clouds

Spring knocks on the window,

looks through the open door,

cuts the steel-gray clouds like ribbons.

The winter depression has ended!

Frozen fears,

the torment of cold

desert into

the pages of the past,

begone poisoners of good thoughts!

Spring,

you are so strong,

you carry a sunny joy,

new strength, vitality,

blooming so pleasing to the eye,

variegation that is already

climbing the trees.

I will help you

unpack your luggage.
